The old one always reminded me of diablo 2.
I came from Diablo 1 and 2... lots of good memories and way too many hours spent in those games ...it was nice to be reminded of those good times.

Anet, let me toggle between the two!
QFT! I realize it wouldn't work well with the additional character slots (at least not without some changes -- such as still showing 4 at a time, but adding selection arrows to the sides so you could scroll through all of your characters), but it would be nice to have an option between the two -- such as a "theme option" (Ch1, Ch2, etc.)..

My thoughts exactly and I would love to have it back.

Default Factions = Downgrade Overall

Yeup, been missing it since day one. Factions is nice, and I appreciate some of it's qualities, but would have liked to be able to switchback and forth. I consider factions for the most part a huge downgrade overall, though as I mentioned there are plenty of things I do like as well still.

Wouldn't it be nice to have the original login screen once we reach ch4 and you have 12+ characters standing around the campfire. Nice and cozy I would think.

Makes you think of the red rover game as a kid.

Red rover, red rover send Gail right over.

I loved the family portrait stlye of the old one. I have three charactors now that I have worked so hard on, it would be nice to see them standing side by side. The new one is has a beautiful backdrop, but still looks like a dum rolidex.

I miss the old screen and the old music--if for no other reason than this: I feel like they're shoving Factions down our throats. Even when you go to enter more keys, the background picture is Nika or Shiro, I recall.

ANet. We get it. Factions exists.
Now let's return to normality. One can only take so much Asian XD

Yeah, over the last several months I grew to loathe the Canthan remix of the original theme. I would love to hear it again, it always brought back the awesome feeling back from the 2004 WPE, when I was standing there about to create my first Ranger, thinking "ok, let's see what this Guild Wars hype is about"

I do dearly miss the old one, it just seemed to suit the game's style to me more then out on the ocean with a view of the fire islands and a whale...

I think the Nightfall interface was best, the sunset, the jungle, and the running water were awesome. I really wish you could choose which one you got.

I'd much rather have the Factions one, though. It was relatively neutral in terms of themes, not to mention drop dead *(#%ing gorgeous.

egads more necromancy going on.....but yeah we all want to have the choice, though the powers that be say NO!! (I think they just dont want us to since most people wouldnt pick eye or nf----and none of this it cant be done stuff--we had the same capabilities from factions on so they have a reason they just arent telling us).
